Présentation
AIPH (Inter-professional Association of Oil-Palm Industry) was set up in 2003.
It consists of all components of the industry, which are as follows:
- FENACOPAH-CI (National Federation of Cooperatives of Oil-Palm Farmers of Côte d'Ivoire), which is the body representing all the oil-palm farmers of Côte d'Ivoire;
- APROSAPCI (Association of Professionals of Oil-Palm Agricultural Society of Côte d'Ivoire), which comprises all companies involved in oil-palm fruit cluster initial processing.
- GITHP (Organisation of Palm Oil Processors), regrouping all industrial companies involved in second processing stage; and
Investors dealing with activities related to the above-mentioned ones, mainly research and funding: CNRA (National Agricultural Research Centre) and FER-PALMIER (Expansion and Renewal Funds for the development of oil-palm cultivation)
AIPH Objectives
AIPH aims at:
- setting up and maintaining a permanent framework of concerted action among the oil-palm industry partners;
- offering an interface among partners, the Government and the development partners; but also and above all,
- ensuring the management of special relationships allowing the empowerment of all the industry partners;
- determining and managing a consensual mechanism for setting a selling price for fruit clusters and raw oils according to markets.
